Birth
&
Early days classes

Calm, practical, and completely personal to you

If you’ve been scrolling through antenatal courses and feeling like none of them quite fit, you’re not alone.
Lots of classes are built for ticking through a list of what to pack, when to push, and what the midwife might say. Helpful, yes. But what if you want something a bit deeper, something that actually feels relevant to you and your baby?

That’s exactly what these sessions are about.

When we work together 1:1, we slow things down and make space for you - your questions, your hopes, your worries, your birth preferences. We’ll talk about the practical side of things (because yes, you’ll still want to know what contractions actually feel like and when to call your midwife), but we’ll also go much further.

We’ll explore:
How you feel about giving birth and becoming a parent

What helps you feel calm, confident and safe

The kind of support you want during labour

How to prepare for the days and weeks after birth

Feeding your baby, with confidence and kindness, however that looks for you -

I take a very personalised, holistic approach to antenatal and postnatal education.

No cookie-cutter lessons, no pressure, and absolutely no judgement. Each session is relaxed, practical and focuses on real life, with plenty of time for conversation, questions and reassurance. I want you to leave feeling more confident, more in control, and more connected to your own instincts. I truly believe birth isn’t just about what your body does, it’s about how you feel.
And when you understand your body, trust your instincts, and know what to expect, you can approach birth (and early parenthood) with so much more calm and understanding.

Including your birth partner

I really encourage birth partners to be part of the sessions because they’re such an important part of your birth experience. We’ll talk about how they can support you physically and emotionally, what’s actually helpful in the moment, and how they can feel a lot more calm when they're by your side. I want birth partners to walk away knowing exactly how to help, not just standing by feeling unsure or worried. Together, we’ll make sure they feel included, useful, and ready to play a meaningful role on the day.
